We believe that Kansas City is a fantastic place to live. So much so, that we have called it home to our business for over 40 years, and our families for over 80 years. We love seeing the city and surrounding areas grow and progress.
We recently earned the James Hardie President’s Club award for our excellent ongoing partnership and work on James Hardie fiber cement siding. We are proud to be the only siding contractor in both Kansas and Missouri to have earned this honor. This accomplishment shows our ongoing dedication to excellent service to homeowners on both sides of the state line.
Meet the Owners of KC Siding and Windows
Our owners, affectionately called “the Chets,” are a father-son team who were born and raised in Kansas City and are proud to call it home.
Chet Flynn, also known as Senior, started his own siding and windows company back in 1978. He served as owner and operator for years, focusing on providing quality services to area homeowners.
His son, Chet Flynn III, who also goes by Tripp, started helping out at the family business as a sixteen year old before becoming an official co-owner 15 years ago. In 2019, the company rebranded to become the Kansas City Siding and Windows of today.
As a business, we follow the Chets’ philosophy that providing excellent customer service is key. Do good work, communicate often, and make sure that each client walks away happy with their new home.
Looking to the future, Tripp’s children are already in training to become the next generation of local business owners. We look forward to providing homeowners with quality home improvement for years to come!

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, about half of construction companies go out of a business within five years. Longevity in this space means a lot. Only 11% of construction companies that started 30 years ago are still doing business. That’s one of the reasons we’re so proud to still be improving homes more than 40 years after we first started in 1978.
We have deep ties to both Kansas and Missouri and are dedicated to helping the area continue to grow.
